Class Response: February 25, 2009

Today we talked about the 'second modernity'. Most of our discussion was on the idea of 'individualization'. I believe this idea of being an independent believer is still plaguing the church today. This is when people just attend church without having any interconnectedness with other members. Churches need to encourage interdependent christianity, and not great a ministry that allows individuals to become independent.
