Class Response: February 16, 2009

Today we talked about Do It Yourself culture and how this is impacting the church. We had an interesting discussion about church and how only few individuals are being active in creating culture. Although it takes more creativity and effort from the leadership, the church needs to provide ways in which the church members can be involved in being an active member of the community instead of being a distant observer. This would also mean that the leadership cannot be completely hands on with everything that happens within the church. It can be scary but at the same time healthy for the community.
