Half way through 1st quarter at Fuller

Wow, this has been heck of a half a quarter. I don't think I have been challenged or pushed so hard in my life and I am not talking about the academic aspect of school. Rather, I find myself being challenged in my theology and practices of theology. It has been great learning about the books in the New Testament, Greek and the behavior adolescence. Even though it has only been 5 weeks, I feel better equipped to serve the Body of Christ.

I recently turned down an amazing internship opportunity at an awesome church, I won't get into the reasons why but it wasn't an easy decision. I guess I have been doing some soul-searching, trying to understand who I am and how I can be best used for God's glory. Other questions that have been consuming my mind are: What is the church, what does it look like, how should it be conducted, who is the church, what does it need to do, and so many more questions. Yes, the bible clearly answers these questions, but it isn't too clear on how they are carried out or what it should physically look like.

These things have been on my mind, as a possible Church Planter and Pastor. The things, I believe all pastors are unique in their calling, giftings, and even how they think Church should look like and who they want to reach. To be honest, I don't exactly know what that is. I believe this is just the start of an amazing journey to discovering my unique calling.

Thank You Lord for allowing me to struggle and wrestle within myself and even put me in difficult situations because I know for a fact you are building me up and preparing me to serve you the best I can.
