Tattoo........

My friend, who happens to share my exact name, has these tattoos on this triceps. What is reads has stuck with me and reminded me the attitude that we all should have.

On his right tri: "Learn as if you are are going to live forever"
On his left tri: "Live as if you are going to die tomorrow"

Now the first one: "Learn as if you are going to live forever" is something i haven't really heard before. But I love it!

We are all students of life and once we stop learning, we are deceiving ourselves and living in a false reality. This is especially true when it comes our relationship with Jesus Christ. Once you think you have figured out all there is to know of God, you will live in a false reality of your arrogance.

Ephesians 3:17-19

17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
